Kedah Agro Ausin Berhad and Lembaga Kemajuan Ikan Malaysia Visit to Lianjiang, Fujian to Explore Potential Collaboration

On 13th April 2024, Kedah Agro Ausin Berhad (KAAB), as the lead organizer, recently brought Lembaga Kemajuan Ikan Malaysia (LKIM) on an official visit to Fuzhou, China. With the support of our regional partner, Hong Dong Fishery Co., Ltd. the delegation toured several private aquaculture facilities in Lianjiang as part of ongoing efforts to explore strategic collaboration opportunities.

The visit included a comprehensive tour of several major facilities such as exhibition hall, national offshore fishery base, and their state-of-the-art seven-level cold room complex. These visits provided valuable insight into the operational capabilities and technological advancements in the fishery and seafood supply chain.

A key highlight of the trip was a formal discussion held among KAAB, LKIM and the Hong Dong’s management team. The dialogue centered on the feasibility of a future collaboration aimed at strengthening Malaysia’s aquaculture, fishing and seafood processing industries.
